Sweet potato fries for toddlers

A quick, easy, and healthy vegetable recipe for your toddler. Sweet potatoes are some of the most nutritious vegetables, boasting high levels of Vitamin A, C, and manganese. In addition, sweet potatoes are a good source of copper, dietary fiber, vitamin B6, potassium and iron. Ingredients:

  • 2 sweet potatoes or yams
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • fresh or dried thyme

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees
  2. Wash sweet potatoes and cut into sticks or wedges
  3. Place in a shallow roasting dish
  4. Drizzle with olive oil, toss to coat
  5. Sprinkle with dried thyme or chopped fresh thyme
  6. Bake until browned and tender, turning once, about 20 minutes total.
