Children’s Anti-infection Skin Cleanser recipe

Try this easy-to-make, natural remedy to soothe your kids’ wounds and prevent infection. This can be used for the entire family. Follow with ointment to help heal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup hydrogen peroxide
  • 20 drops tea tree essential oil
  • 20 drops lavender essential oil
  • 5 drops thyme essential oil
  • 8-ounce spray bottle

To make:

  1. Combine ingredients in an 8-ounce spray bottle or regular bottle, preferably glass
  2. Spray can be stored in a cool, dry cabinet for up to 1 year.

To use:

  1. Pour cool water over the affected area to clear it of debris, if necessary
  2. Dab wound with a cleanser-soaked cotton ball or gently pour the liquid directly onto the scrape, scratch, or insect bite
  3. Use as needed to prevent infection, up to 3 times per day
